Day 1 - Arrive in Miami
Air travel to Miami International Airport

Activities depend on time of arrival. Possibilities include:

Day 2 - The Everglades + Air Boat Rides
Everglades National Park tram way with bike rental. (15-mile private paved trail of the Everglades, bike rentals are available cheap, rentals include helmets, no vehicles on the trail other than the park operated trams)

Visit Miccosukee Indian Village en route from park.

Day 3 - Alligator Farm and East Everglades
Everglades Alligator Farm (Alligator, crocodile and snake farm. Tour of breeding facilities, feedings, and research program. A short airboat tour of facilities is included with the admission price.)

Royal Palm and Edward Coe (guided state park tours).
(Everglades national park, ranger-led learning activities, walking tour, etc)

Day 4 - Pennekamp Reef -Key Largo Glass Bottom Boat Tour + snorkeling
This activity offers 2 hour instructed snorkeling tours with all participants wearing life jackets as they float over the protected reef examining hundreds of coral and fish species. Some tours offer children's rates as the waters are clear, warm, calm and shallow - 3 to 20 feet.

Glass bottom boat tour of reef allows viewing under slightly more controlled conditions and in deeper water than the snorkeling tours.

Walking trails and species identification on Long Key. Many of these trails are boardwalks over the protected areas.

Day 5 - Kayak - Key Largo
Dusenbury Creek tour (3hr) This kayak trip up a quiet river will provide an excellent opportunity to see manatees in protected waters amongst mangroves.

Nature Hiking, and interpretive center

Drive from Key Largo to Key West

Day 6 - Dry Tortugas Tour - Key West
8am - 5pm Boat ride and sight-seeing tour of Dry Tortugas. Tour of state parks on the island. Lunch included.

Downtown Key West.

Day 7 - Kayak Eco Tours - Key West

Half day kayak tours to various locations.

Boca Chica and Wildlife Refuge tours.

Travel to Miami area

Day 8 - Tour of Museum, University or City

Lots of options, Museum of Discovery and Science, Fort Lauderdale Boardwalk, Miami Aquarium, Tour of university (Miami or Florida)

Evening dinner cruise Fort Lauderdale.

Day 9 - Depart from Miami to catch homeward flight
